For our second trip in Germany, this sanatorium was the first one of our to do list. Located on a small town somewhere in Germany, this facility opened around 40 years ago in several village houses linked together and closed around 5 years ago. From that time the facility is abandoned and the company which owned it would sell all the village houses separately or in lots after some small works.  However, is impossible to get more information about that.

 

When we got there, in October 2018, we knew with recent pictures that the place was in good conditions and that lot of stuff was still there. So, we planned to sleep there. We arrived during the night after a long journey, we sought for a while for an entrance and got in. we slept in a room with beds until dawn. When we were finishing our pictures, we suddenly heard some voices coming to us. We were taking pictures in a small room nearby, so we closed the door and stand hidden on that room avoiding any noise. The 2 people came close to the room and went somewhere else. But, to be comfortable, we let our stuff stored in the other side of the sanatorium and we had to go there by the only long corridor linking all the buildings. We finally reached carefully our stuff and left quickly the facility.
