For ours second trip in Germany, after a great beginning with a sanatorium, we reach this cure hotel. It was complicated to understand why this place closed. We could suppose that the hotel was out of standards and that the roof of the old building was partly damaged, and the rehabilitation works would be too much expensive in regard to the decreasing activity.

 

When we got there, in May 2018, the place was already rotting away, and lot of stuff was still there. However, the building wasn’t totally forgotten, when we were having our lunch, we heard someone get in and out with a bicycle. Perhaps he was using only the entrance area as a bicycle garage? Or was he keeping the place? We didn’t have the answer, but rot is taking place and radiators were broken by frost.
