For the end of our trip in Germany, we visited, on the way back home, this clinic. The main part of the building was built during the 70’s as a luxury hotel. At the beginning of the 90’s, the hotel was transformed to a rheumatology clinic. For this transformation, the main building was renovated and extended.

But, in 1996, the owner’s company closed, and all patients was moved very quickly. Since this day, this facility is closed. During a long time, the place was kept by a security company with full-time guards inside.

After several years, this keeping was stopped and in 2013, a part of the building was burned down. Since that moment, the facility is rotting away.

In 2014, a potential new owner presented a rehabilitation plan to do a new clinic. But today nothing has been done yet.
